All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Bakersfield Californian 12 April 2005 Lucille Pearl Musick Services: Thurs., Apr. 14, 1:30 p.m. Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd., for Lucille Pearl Musick, 101, of Boise, Idaho, who passed away April 7, 2005. Interment will follow in Shafter District Cemetery. Mrs. Musick was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on July 12, 1903, to Joseph Si Smith and Rosanna S. G. (Ferguson) Smith. Lucille grew up on a farm. Lucille married Griggs Musick on February 2, 1920, in Lawton, Oklahoma. They lived most of their married life together in Bakersfield, CA. Lucille moved to Fresno, CA a couple of years after Griggs passed away and lived there until Sept. 1998. At that time she moved to Boise, ID to live with her oldest granddaughter, Bonna and her husband LeRoy. She worked in the fields and factorys until she was around 50 years old. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and playing cards and different types of games. And she enjoyed spending time with all of her family. Lucille is survived by 7 grandchildren, Bonna Meyer of Boise, ID, Ernest Walker of Santa Rosa, CA, Colleen Brown of Sacramento, CA, Betty Elmore of Santa Maria, CA, Paula Bargadorf of Arroyo Grande, CA, Sue Bodie of Tumwater, WA and Gerald Phillips of Centralia, WA; 8 great- grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Griggs, 4 children, Bonner O Dean, Kate Lorene Atkinson, Gerald J. and Ruby Martin, 8 brothers and sisters. Visitation begins today Wednesday, 12-9 p. m.
