All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 4 Jul 2005 John Edward 'Eddie' McDonald Funeral for John Edward "Eddie" McDonald, 46, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Cache, with the Rev. Jennifer Long officiating. Mr. McDonald died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at his home after a lengthy illness. Burial will be at Cache Cemetery under direction of Jackson Funeral Home, Frederick. He was born July 28, 1958, in Smyrna, Tenn., to Dannie Martin and Sara Elizabeth "Betty" Vernon McDonald. He graduated from Altus High School in 1976. In June 1976, he enlisted in the Air Force, where he served until February 1979. He was employed by Advanced Warning as a traffic controller. He married Rhoda Barker Truelove on March 19, 2005, in Cache. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cache. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Kaley McDonald, Cache; two stepdaughters: Jessica Pullings and her husband Gabriel, Lewisville, Texas; and Chrystal Rodriguez and her husband Charles, Germany; a stepson, Josh White, Norman; four sisters: Wynona Nottingham and her husband Jerry, Lawton; Brenda Rose and her husband Bob, Kim, Colo.; Mary Lou Seymour and her husband T.J., Lawton; and Jeanie Ferguson and her husband Larry, Cache; three grandchildren: Aurelio, Anthony and Desiree' Rodriguez; three aunts: Kathy McDonald Bone, Lawton; Mary Thompson, Birmingham, Ala.; and Mickey Phelps and her husband Buddy, Long Beach, Calif.; an uncle, J.T. Vernon and his wife Dot, Nashville, Tenn.; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, two nieces and four uncles. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma or to the First United Methodist Church in Cache.
