McKINNEY Funeral service for Sherry M. McKinney, 65, Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Philip Seeton, pastor, and Rev. Mr. Harman Lawrence, deacon, officiating. Mrs. McKinney died Monday in Lawton. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. She was born November 27, 1939, in Chickasha to William J. and Mildred Logsdon. She had been a Lawton resident since 1946 and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School. She had worked at Meadow Wood Animal Hospital for 24 years. She was married to Howard C. "Mac" McKinney, Jr. on February 12, 1982, in Vernon, Texas. He died December 22, 1994. She had served and was an honored volunteer with the American Red Cross at Reynolds Army Community Hospital at Fort Sill and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Mark Owen Johnson, Lawton; two stepsons, Howard C. McKinney, III, Lawton, and Larry W. McKinney, Germany; two stepdaughters, Dianne Allmon, Mississippi, and Debbie L. Alldredge, Lawton; 15 step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren, and a nephew, Tony Mattei, Austin, Texas. Her parents, a sister, Janet, and several aunts, Ruby Allen, Dorothy Graham, and Myrtle Hankins, preceded her in death.
