All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== The Chickasha Express-Star 18 February 2005 MAXINE [LOVE] McNABB Funeral services for Maxine Marqueta (Love) McNabb, 71, of Cyril, will be held Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church, Cyril, with Rev. Charles Echols, pastor, officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 18, 2005 from 9:00 AM till 8:00 PM at Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. Mrs. McNabb died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at her home in Cyril, following a lengthy illness. Burial will be in the Celestial Gardens Cemetery, Cyril, under the direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born January 29, 1934 in Fletcher to Walter Love and Hazel (Bridges) Love. She graduated from Cyril High School in 1952. Maxine married Kenneth McNabb March 13, 1955 in Duncan. They moved to Hays, KS in 1957 and to Jakarta Indonesia in 1972. They returned to the states in 1976, living in Bossier City, LA where she worked for the Bossier Parish School Board as a dietician until retiring in 1991. They returned to Cyril in 1992 where she was active in the community and a member of First Baptist Church of Cyril. Survivors include; her husband, Kenneth, of the home, three daughters; Sandra Cook and her husband, Willard, of Glenwood, Iowa, Nancy Shodeen and her husband, Ronald, of Parma, Idaho and Kathleen McNabb and fianc\"e9, Russell Johns, of Shreveport, LA, six sisters, Beatrice Lemons of Sterling, Peggy Parham of Elgin, Geraldine Mansel of Elgin, Sue Love of Elgin, June Hollister of Amarillo, TX and Donna Clark of Blanchard, two brothers; Thomas Love of Bangs, TX and Timothy Love of Eufala; two loving granddaughters; Amanda Eldridge and Dana Jones, both of Glenwood, Iowa, five great grandchildren; Derek, Denver, Alexis, Brooklyn and Morgan and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Hazel Love, one brother, Bobby Love, one sister, Deborah Kay Moore.
