Mrs. Maddox died Friday, May 16, 2003, at her home. ========= Lawton Consitituion 19 May 2003 Dorthy Maddox Funeral for Dorthy Maddox, 63, Lawton, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson Funeral Home with Elder Joe Williams officiating. Mrs. Maddox died Friday, May 16, 2003, at her home. Burial will be at Fort Sill Post Cemetery under direction of Jefferson Funeral Home. She was born Oct. 26, 1939, in Mount Enterprise, Texas, and moved to Lawton in 1974. She married Donald W. Maddox in 1959 in Henderson, Texas, and was a housewife. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons: Cedric Maddox and his wife, Ella, Mount Enterprise; Reginald Maddox and his wife, Sonja, Lawton; three daughters: Lanya Doyle and her husband Darren, Lawton; Felicia Jackson and her husband Artis, Sacramento, Calif.; and Donna Newkirk and her husband Frank, Lawton; four brothers: Orlester Hodge, Mount Enterprise; Jonathan Hodge and his wife, Jean, Clarksville, Tenn.; Donnie Dale Hodge and his wife Norma, Henderson, Texas; Eloise Hodge, Mount Enterprise; a sister, Estella Haffert and her husband Andrew, Nacogdoches; 13 grandchildren: Tamara, Desire, Alicia, Tiffany, Antonio, Cory, Alexander, Brandon, Donald, Jarrod, Drew, Cedric and Devyn; and two great- grandchildren: Destiny and Z’Aire.
