All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Bakersfield Californian Katherine Ann Miller 1-14-1947 3-31-02 Kathy was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, but was a long-time resident of Bakersfield. Throughout her life she enjoyed many activities, from playing tennis to making pottery and jewelry. Kathy loved to make unique crafts and things, she was very artistic. Kathy started in real estate about 20 years ago. This fit her personality well. She loved her clients, and would go out of her way to help anyone who needed it. This type of genuine caring for people won her many dear friends. She eventually became a real estate broker, and opened Abbey Road Property Management. Kathy loved to entertain people and cook. Friends will miss the wonderful meals and conversations at Kathys house. Kathy was preceded in death by her loving dog Sissy. She loved traveling with Sissy and taking her to the beach. Kathy is survived by her two sons, David Miller and his wife Denise of Petaluma, and Quinn Miller of Bakersfield. She had 3 wonderful granddaughters, Meagan, Taylor and Lauren; and one grandson, Brian. Thank you to all of her friends and the love of her life, Craig, that supported her during this short illness. Kathy had her mother, two sisters and brother and their families close by that gave her strength and faith. At her request, just a private service will be held on the coast.
