Marco Funeral for John C. Marco, 65, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Lawton, with the Rev. Mark Henslee, pastor, officiating. Mr. Marco died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, in Dallas. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. He was born Jan. 5, 1940 in McAlester to Charlie and Myrtle LaVera Hodson Marco. He attended McAlester Public Schools, graduating in 1958. He entered the Army and served from October 1961 to November 1963. He moved to Lawton in 1963 and married Billie Jean Crowder on Dec. 20, 1964, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She died June 20, 2003. He then married Susie Parr on Jan. 1, 2005, in Lawton. He began working for Milo Gordon Chrysler- Plymouth in July 1968, serving as general manager until his retirement in February 2004. He served as the past worshipful master of Mt. Scott Lodge 540 in 2001 and past worshipful master of Triangle Lodge 548 in 2005. Upon his death, he was a 32nd-degree Mason and Shriner. Survivors include his wife, of the home, three children: Michael Crowder, Barbara Ann Crowder Christi and Dustin Marco and his wife, Rachael, all of Lawton, a stepdaughter, Lori PaskVan and her husband, Damon, Jenks, two brothers: Andy Marco and Frank Marco, both of McAlester; two sisters: Nora Marco and Lucy Allen, both of McAlester; six grandchildren: Clayton and Sara Stonerock, Tristan and Blakelee Marco, all of Lawton; and Zachary and Max PaskVan, both of Jenks; and two great-grandchildren: Alisha and Kadden Stonerock, both of Durant. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to the India Shrine Transportation Fund, 3601 NW 36, Oklahoma City 73112.
