Niederjohn Graveside service for Henry W. Niederjohn, 92, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Royce Littrell, retired minister, officiating. Mr. Niederjohn died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at a local hospital. Arrangements are by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. He was born April 5, 1910, in Lawton to William H. and Elizabeth Bell Niederjohn. He grew up east of Lawton, later moved into Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School. As a young boy, he delivered The Lawton Constitution in Lawton-Fort Sill for about 10 years. He attended Cameron College, and married Lois Vosburgh on March 30, 1941, in Waurika. He owned and operated the Niederjohn Diary for many years until his retirement in 1967. He was a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, a board member of the Dairy Association of Oklahoma and a lifetime member of the Northwest Arkansas Cavalcade Riding Club. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Will Sasser, Lawton; and two granddaughters: Kimberley and Amanda Sasser, both of Lawton. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Alice Lass, Ann Haynes and Lida Mauk.
