All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Highland Cemetery--Lawton OK Lawton Constitution 6 May 2003 Alma Penequaddy Ototivo Funeral for Alma Penequaddy Ototivo, 83, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Comanche Reformed Church with the Rev. Charles Spencer officiating. A prayer service will be from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Comanche Nation Funeral Home. Mrs. Ototivo died Sunday, May 4, 2003, at a local care center. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. She was born Dec. 28, 1919, to Timothy and Emma Eckiwaudahi Penequaddy. She was a member of CIVA Ladies' Auxiliary, the Comanche Reformed Church and the Comanche War Mothers. She married Clifford E. Ototivo Sr., a Comanche Code Talker. Survivors include two sons: Timothy Ototivo and Clifford Ototivo Jr., both of Walters; three daughters: Carmen Ototivo, Linda McCarthy and Jan Ototivo, all of Lawton; three brothers: Oris Chasenah, Apache; and Earl Chasenah and Elton Yellowfish, both of Lawton; 26 grandchildren; 41 great- grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Rudy Ototivo; four sisters; three brothers; and a great-granddaughter.
