Charlie Peace

FRIONA - Charlie Peace, 63, died Monday, May 31, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Friona Cemetery with the 
Rev. Waide Messer of Friona officiating. Arrangements are by Ellis-
Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.

Mr. Peace was born in Fletcher, Okla., and moved to Friona in 1961 from 
Lubbock. During the Korean War, he served in both the Navy and Air Force. 
He was a self-employed mechanic.

He married Carmen Lara in 1983 at Friona.

Survivors include his wife; a son, John Peace of Amarillo; two daughters, 
Erika Peace and Grace Peace, both of Friona; two brothers, Tommy Peace of 
Iowa and Bob Peace of Friona; three sisters, Maxine Miller of Odessa, 
Betty Royal of Plainview and Alyene Wright of Garland; and 11 
grandchildren.
