Rosary was at 7 p.m. Thursday in Parkside Chapel. Mass will be at 2 p.m. today in San Jose Catholic Church with Monsignor Arturo Meza officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mrs. Padgett was born June 1, 1934, in Eagle Pass, the daughter of Agustin and Henriquetta Estrada. She married Marshall Padgett on March 7, 1969, in Clovis, N.M. They had lived in Hereford more than 40 years. Survivors include her husband; a son, Ricardo Padgett of Amarillo; a daughter, Diana Carter of Allen; four brothers, Milo Estrada of New Orleans Henry Estrada and Hector Estrada, both of Palo Alto, Calif., and Ernesto Estrada of Crystal City; four sisters, Dora Salazar of Lawton, Okla., Lupe Sulica and Emma Flores, both of Crystal City, and Josie Mandall of San Jose, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford.
