All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Johnson County (AR) Graphic Gary Don Phillips Gary Don Phillips, 38, of San Clemente, Calif., grandson of the late Charlie and Iola Holloway of Clarksville, died Saturday, April 8, 2000, from injuries sustained in a highway accident en route to Los Angeles, Calif. He was a native of Lawton, Okla., 1979 graduate of Eisenhower High School, attended the University of Oklahoma, received a bachelor of arts degree with a major in psychology from California State University at Fullerton, a master of arts degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University in 1998, and was interning in clinic psychology at the time of his death. He was employed at Ferrantelli's in Dana Point, Calif., member of the First Baptist Church in Lawton, Okla., and grandson of the late Alvin and Dullie Phillips. Survivors include his father, Don A. Phillips of Lawton, Okla.; mother Shirley Kaye Holloway Phillips of Lawton, Okla.; one brother and sister- in-law, Steven Todd and Antonietta Phillips of Fort Worth, Texas; and two nephews, Brent Phillips and Brad Phillips, both of Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, April 14, at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
