Parks INDIAHOMA — Funeral for Beverly J. Parks, 50, Indiahoma, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lamoin Champ, pastor of Carter Lake Baptist Church, Bowie, Texas, officiating. Mrs. Parks died Saturday, May 11, 2002, in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1951, in Palm Springs, Calif., to James and Roxie L. Parks. She attended Cleveland Elementary School and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1969. She had worked at Southwestern Medical Center for many years. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Steve Jester, of the home; a grandmother, Bertie Parks; 13 uncles and aunts: Marceline Hardin, Wichita Falls; Lorene and Wes Aldrich; Gaynell and Willis Cantrell; and Ruby Garrett, all of Lawton; Millie Parks, Edmonds, Wash.; Curtis and Delores Parks, Oklahoma City; Jack and Mary Jane McComber, Velma; Ozell and Ralph Dragoo, Henderson, Ky.; close friends, Gail and Al Wagoner; and Bert Moore, all of Lawton; and numbers cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
