All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Sunset Memorial Gardens--Lawton OK Becker Funeral Home Obit 17 Oct 2005 Monty Bruce Perkins Age 71, Lawton - Services will be at 1:30 pm Friday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Ed Ikard, Pastor of Southside Assembly of God and Rev. Don Middleton, Retired Minister, Lawton, officiating. Mr. Perkins died Monday in a local hospital. Burial with military honors will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born July 27, 1934 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Chester Andrew and Theresa Henrietta (Krauss) Perkins. He was raised in Frederick and graduated from Frederick High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1956. He worked for Chickasha Mobile Homes from 1960 until 1974, and also worked for them in South Dakota. He married Linda C. Davis in Lawton on October 8, 1982. He later worked as a Billeting Clerk at Fort Sill, and retired due to health reasons. He played the Bass guitar and loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of Southside Assembly of God. Survivors include: his wife Linda C. Perkins of the home, 2 Daughters-Monica and husband Tommy Stewart of Chickasha, OK, and Theresa Warren of Chickasha, OK. 2 Step-Sons-Gregory Davis and his wife Norma of Indiahoma, OK and Kevin Davis and his wife Megumi of Japan. 6 Grandchildren- Christopher, Lauren and Nathan Stewart, all of Chickasha, OK, Miles and Kelsey Davis of Altus, OK and Royce Davis of Japan. Mother In-Law-Katherine Cropp of Lawton, OK, 2 Nieces and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: Parents, 2 infant sons, Monty Landon Perkins and Tony Alan Perkins, Sister and Brother In-Law: Maxine and Max Kennemer, 2 Grandchildren: Timothy Stewart and Jake Warren.
