All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::?--Miami AZ Reeves, Norman Dean Norman Dean Reeves passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2006 in Tucson, Arizona. Norman was in Casa De Luz Hospice, where he passed away peacefully with his family at his side. Norman was born April 23, 1927 in Faxon, Oklahoma to Ben and Lilly Reeves. Norman served in the Navy from 1945 until 1947, when he was honorably discharged as a Yeoman 3rd Class. Norm moved to Miami, Arizona and went to work for Magma in 1948. In 1950, he married Ella Mae Stinnett, also of Miami. The couple had three children and moved to San Manuel, Arizona in 1958, and Norm continued to work for Magma. Ella was suddenly taken from the family in 1965. Norm remarried to Jo Bessage and later divorced. In January of 1974, Norm married his current wife, Margaret Osborn. Norm was a long time member of the San Manuel First Baptist Church. Norm was preceded in death by his first wife, Ella Reeves and his brother, Don (Shirley) Reeves. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Reeves of San Manuel, Arizona; his sister, Ruth (Jack) Cupples of Snowflake, Arizona; his daughter, Norma Watkins of San Manuel, Arizona; his sons, Ben (Joann) Reeves of Tucson, Arizona and Robert (Renee) Reeves of Del Rio, Texas; stepchildren, Lee (Jeanie) Mars, Gene (Willie) Osborn, Terry (Pam) Osborn, Tonnie (Dennis) McBroom; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and many extended family member and friends. He will be sadly missed by all! Funeral Services for Norman will be held Friday, November 24, 2006 at the San Manuel First Baptist Church, on the corner of First Avenue and Nichols, in San Manuel, Arizona at 10:00 a.m. A brief meal and fellowship will follow at the church. Interment will be held privately in Miami, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, Norm asked that donations be made in his name to the American Lung Association. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and thanks to the staff of Northwest Oro Valley Hospital, on Tangerine Road and Casa De La Luz Hospice.
