All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +=========================================================================+ Lawton Constitution June 12, 2003 Eula Faye Reece LUBBOCK, Texas — Funeral for former Lawton resident Eula Faye Reece, 61, Lubbock, Texas, will be at 11 a.m. today at Bethel Baptist Church, Anadarko, with the Rev. Ray Weathers, pastor, officiating. A reception for family and friends will be after the service. Mrs. Reece died Monday, June 9, 2003, at her home. Burial will be at Memory Lane Cemetery under direction of Steverson Funeral Home, Anadarko. She was born Oct. 13, 1941, in Alma to Joe L. and Eula Marie Thacker Oxford. She graduated from Velma-Alma High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma College for Women at Chickasha. Survivors include her husband, Lubbock, Texas; two sons: Jason, Abilene, Texas; and Chris, Plano, Texas; two grandchildren: Logan and Dylan; two sisters: Shirley Jones and Wanda Forshee, both of Velma-Alma; two brothers: Cecil, Houston; and Raymond, Velma-Alma; her mother-in-law, Elsie Reece, Anadarko; two brothers-in-law: Wayne Reece, Broken Bow; and Jimmy Reece, Lawton; and four sisters-in-law: Frances Settle, Chickasha; Charlene Monthei, Arkansas; Gwen Moser, Norman; and Joyce Reece, Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents.
