Rogers Age 83, Lawton, Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Thursday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tom Willoughby, Associate Pastor, First Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Rogers died Sunday in Edmond, Oklahoma. Burial will be in Cache Cemetery, Cache, Oklahoma. Mrs. Rogers was born December 8, 1920 in Indiahoma, Oklahoma to Clarence and Mary E. (Blackwelder) McCane. She attended public schools in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School in 1940. She married Doug Rogers on December 29, 1962 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lawton from childhood and lived in the Lawton area until April 2002 when she and her husband moved to Edmond, Oklahoma to be closer to family. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone for eleven years as chief night operator. She was a civil service employee at the Fort Sill Post Signal Office as chief operator and retired January 9, 1981 after 30 years of service. Survivors include her husband of the home; One Son, James M. Bellah and his wife Claudia, Ponca City, OK; Two Grandchildren, Paul Bellah and his wife Janelle, Edmond, OK.; and David Bellah and his wife Jamie, Stillwater, OK; Five Great-Grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Bellah, Edmond, OK.; Rachel, Grant and Sydney Bellah, Stillwater, OK; Two Step- Sons, Richard L. Rogers, Colorado Springs, CO; Ronald D. Rogers, Jesup, IA; Five Step-Grandchildren and One Step-Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Paul O. McCane.
