Ms. Reta died Sept. 3, 2002, at Fort Sill. ========= Lawton Constitution 7 Sep 2002 Maria M. Reta Funeral for 71, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Whinery-Huddleston Chapel with Chaplain Capt. Dea Schmidt officiating. Mrs. Reta died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at Fort Sill. Burial will be at Fort Sill Post Cemetery. She was born Dec. 1, 1930, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Fredrico and Elvira Mireles. She married Marcelo Reta on Jan. 31, 1947, in Corpus Christi. She was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Marcelo Reta Jr., Denver, and Raul and Barbara Reta, Lawton; one daughter, Rosa Arce, Lawton; one brother and sister-in-law, Jose and Paula Mireles, Corpus Christi; two sisters: Gloria Abrigo, Corpus Christi, and Elvita Mireles, Washingotn; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; special friends: Lupe Garcia, Corpus Christi, and Josephine Vela, Lawton.
