All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Fort Sill National Cemetery--Elgin OK Lawton Constitution 16 Nov 2003 Davis Wayne Rudisill Graveside service for Davis Wayne Rudisill, Robinson Landing, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Sill National Cemetery with the Rev. John Webb officiating. Mr. Rudisill died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at a local hospital. Interment will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service. There will be a gathering at 615 SW 25th, Lawton, after the services. He was born Dec. 14, 1926, in Battiest to John Wiley and Ethel Rudisill. He served in the Army during World War II. After he was discharged from service, he went to work for civil service, then was employed at Fort Sill, and then worked at the Porter Hill bait shop. Survivors include his wife, Frankie Rudisill, of the home; a sister, Beth Cravey; four stepsons: Ronnie Wykoff, Winchester, Va.; Johnny Wykoff and his wife, Donna, Destin, Fla.; Steven Smart and his wife, Cindy; and David Smart and his wife, Lori, all of Lawton; a stepdaughter, Terry Duncan, Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren: Jaylon Wykoff, Mary Rusche, Amanda Wykoff, Jimmy Duncan, Amanda Smart, Kathy Wykoff, Laura Wykoff, and Michael Smart; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and step- grandson, Reggie.
