Rudolph Funeral for Fred J. Rudolph, 88, Lawton, is pending with Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. Mr. Rudolph died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at a local hospital. Gracie Viola Passons Funeral for Gracie Viola Passons, 90, Lawton, is pending with Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. Mrs. Passons died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at her home. ========= Lawton Constitution 21 Nov 2004 Fred J. Rudolph Funeral for Fred J. Rudolph, 88, Lawton, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard Mayer, pastor, officiating. Mr. Rudolph died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at a local hospital. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. He was born Sept. 25, 1916, in Diggins, Mo. to William Henry and Anna Kreuzer Rudolph. He came to Lawton in 1941. He worked for 32 years in civil service at Fort Sill before retiring in 1972. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and served as treasurer for the local unit. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, where he served as secretary for 21 years, treasurer for 23 years, a Sunday School teacher for 32 years, and a church elder for three years. He was an original member of the Center for Creative Living. He married Grace Florine Fross on March 30, 1941, in Springfield, Mo. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, David Dean Rudolph and his wife, Jean, Winston-Salem, N.C.; two daughters: Carol Ann Hoyle and her husband, Larry, Potomac Falls, Va.; and Patsy Jean Bourland, Lawton; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gary Lynn Rudolph; three brothers; and two sisters.
