Raymond Graveside service for retired Sgt. First Class Edward E. Raymond, 70, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. Mr. Raymond died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at his home. Burial with military honors will be under direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Chicago, Ill. He married Marguerite Broussard on Jan. 4, 1972, in Waurika. He served in Korea and Vietnam and worked in civil service for five years. He was a volunteer at Southwestern Hospital and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons: Edward E. Raymond Jr., Tacoma, Wash., and George Raymond, Washington; a daughter, Tina Raymond, California; a step-son, Joe Beavers and wife Tammie, Dallas; and a step- grandchild, Jennifer Beavers, Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda; a step-daughter, Rita Phillips; and his mother. Memorial contributions may be made to: American Heart Association, 5700 N.
