Gerald J. Sperling

Word has been received of the death of retired Col. Gerald J. 
Sperling, 77, Lawton. A private family burial will be out of state. 

Mr. Sperling died Thursday, June 19, 2003, at his home. 

Arrangements are by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. He served in the 
U.S. Army, and retired after 30 years. He married Ann Barry Carle in 
Stroudsburg, Pa. 

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Michael C. Sperling, 
Lawton; three daughters: Ann Elizabeth Kennedy, Austin, Texas; 
Dorothy Lou Gunkel, Elk City; and Linda Kay Sperling, Houston; and 
two grandchildren. 

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lawton Area, 1930 
Ferris, Suite 5, Lawton 73507.
