Mr. Scott, 79, of Medford, died Friday (Nov. 23, 2001) at his home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lymphoma Research Foundation of America, 8800 Venice Blvd., Suite 207, Los Angeles, CA 90034. He was born Nov. 12, 1922, in Lawton, Okla., the son of Clay Thomas Sr. and Rose Ellen (Travis) Scott. On April 3, 1975, in Las Vegas, he married Mary E. Farley, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1981. Mr. Scott worked in the real estate business most of his life. He was retired. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Mr. Scott was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a past Elks member in California and a past member of the Lords and Ladies Squaredance group. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sisters, Nina Hillhouse, Lawton, Okla., and Ellen Morgan, Dallas, Texas. Arrangements: Abbey Funeral, Medford.
