Scott Funeral for Edith Husband Scott, 93, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Centenary United Methodist Church with Rev. William F. Todd, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Scott died Saturday, May 25, 2002 at her home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 14, 1908, in Hollis to Dr. William G. and Ethel Snider Husband. She attended schools in Hollis and graduated from Hollis High School in 1927. She attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. She married Robert Preston Scott on Aug. 31, 1931, in Hollis. He died in 1958. She lived in Lawton since 1931. She was a member of the Junior League of Lawton, Chapter BY, of P.E.O. Sisterhood, and was a past member of the board of Highland Cemetery. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. William A. and Jancy Scott, St. Genevieve, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Sue Scott, Bella Vista, Ark.; three grandchildren: Catherine Scott, Baytown, Texas; Robert H. Scott Jr., Edmond; and Sarah Davis, Highland, Ill.; four great- grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie Froeber, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert H. Scott; and a brother, Dr. William G. Husband Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church building fund, 704 S.W.
