Scott D. Stimpson

SUN CITY, Ariz. - Scott D. Stimpson, 82, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003.

Celebration-of-life services will be at 11 a.m. today in Country 
Baptist Church in Peoria with lunch to follow. Arrangements are by 
Palm Funeral Home.

Mr. Stimpson was born in Geronimo, Okla., to Clarence Stimpson and 
Rachel Hanks Stimpson on Aug. 2, 1921. He lived most of his life in 
Borger, Texas, and Prescott Valley. He also founded Grand Avenue Shoe 
Repair in 1993.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Gay; two granddaughters, Lisa 
Mumby and Laura Hargett; a great-granddaughter; a brother in 
California; a sister in Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host 
of Christian friends.

The family suggests memorials be to Country Baptist Church building 
fund.
