All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 27 Jun 2005 John Stimak Funeral for 87, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of God, Anderson Affiliation, with the Rev. Jack Darnell, pastor, and Jim Igarta officiating. Mr. Stimak died Wednesday, June 22, 2005, in Lawton. Burial will be at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. He was born in Donora, Pa., to John and Anna Havrous Stimak. He was raised in Donora and attended school there. He joined the United States Army and served in World War II and the Korean War before retiring from the military. His wife's name was Ruby. He was a member and elder at the First Church of God, Anderson Affiliation. Survivors include two brothers: Joe Stimak and Paul Stimak and his wife, Joyce; four sisters,: Mary Nebl, Helen Weber, Pauline Knapp,and Irene Tucker and her husband, George; many nieces and nephews and host of friends.
