Stanton Born: August 2, 1930 Died: August 30, 2006 Brentwood resident since 1976 Loving husband of Gerry Stanton; caring and devoted father of Terry, Marty, Chad, and Lonni; beloved father-in- law to Rich, Raquel, and Lucie; grandfather of Gary, Bryan and Ariana; and a friend to all who met him. Leo was born in Lawton, OK; graduated El Cerrito High School; served in the U.S. Air Force; and retired from Contra Costa Consolidated Fire Dept. after 33 years of honored service. He was a member of the Brentwood Men's Club and Discovery Bay Country Club. Leo loved playing golf, and one of his proudest achievements is winning a Hole-in-One 5 times. He also enjoyed swimming, working around the house on his many projects, as well as helping Gerry in their flower business. Leo enjoyed a long, productive life, spending 22 years of retirement devoted to his wife and family. Leo will forever be remembered for his warm smile and his wit and sarcasm - especially on the golf course.
