Obituary:

DENTON - Evelyn Middleton Stribling, 93, a homemaker, died Wednesday 
at a Denton hospital.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Denton.

Burial: 3 p.m. in Acton Cemetery in Acton. Officiants: The Rev. Dr. 
Oran Nabors and the Rev. Dr. Charlotte Nabors. Visitation: 5:30 to 7 
tonight.

Memorials: Building Fund, First Christian Church, 1203 N. Fulton 
St., Denton, Texas 76201.

Evelyn Middleton Stribling was born Feb. 16, 1903, in Richard's 
Spur, in Indian Territory Oklahoma, to John William and Lula Perdue 
Middleton. She married James O. Stribling in Henrietta on June 
21,1925. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1979. She was a 
graduate of Lawton High School in Lawton, Okla., and a 38-year 
member of First Christian Church in Denton.

Survivors: Sons and wives, James P. and Carolyn Stribling of Garland 
and Gilbert T. and Beth Stribing of Argyle; daughter, Zena S.McAdams 
of Irving; sister, Pauline and her husband, Hubert Cooper, of 
Hiwasse, Ark.; grandchildren, Becky Mayad of Dallas, Kelly and 
husband, Brian Sutherland, of Denton, Lindsay Stribling of Argyle, 
Curtiss McAdams of Denton, Kimberly and husband, Scott Baker, of 
Fort Worth and Christopher and wife, Elizabeth McAdams, of Austin; 
and great-grandchildren, Taylor and Sarah Mayad of Dallas and Robert 
and Amanda Sutherland of Denton.
