D "Dick" Sullivan, 61, Fletcher, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fletcher Christian Church with the Rev. Jim Hall, pastor, officiating. Mr. Sullivan died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at a Lawton hospital. Burial with military honors will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. He was born March 12, 1942, in Manhattan, Kan., to Sherman Sullivan and Marguerite Shepard Sullivan. He grew up in Ohio, and joined the Air Force and served one tour of duty. He attended UCLA for a short time then joined the Army and served more than 20 years before retiring in 1983. He married Betty Monte on July 23, 1970 at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. They moved to Fletcher in 1978 and have lived there since. After retiring he received a bachelor of science degree in history from the University of Science and Arts of Chickasha. He taught school in Lawton and the area for several years. He was a member of Fletcher Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a sister, Judy Saeman, Las Vegas; a brother, John Sullivan, Medford, Ore.; and an uncle, Warren Sullivan, Alamogordo, N.M. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to Fletcher Christian church, P.O.
