Sarabia Funeral Mass for Lucy L. Sarabia, 90, Lawton will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with the Rev. James D. M. Stafford, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Sarabia died Friday, July 4, 2003, at her home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under direction of Becker Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. She was born June 25, 1913, in San Angelo, Texas, to Edward and Juanita Labrada. She married Jim Sarabia on Feb. 1, 1937, in Lawton. He died May 1, 1955. Mrs. Sarabia worked at the Post Quartermaster Laundry at Fort Sill and retired in 1975. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Mary and Ivan Prowell, of the home; and Victoria and Jim VanSickel, Killeen, Texas; three sisters: Rose Hernandez, Stockton, Calif.; Margaret Contreras, San Angelo, Texas; and Ophelia Howard, Jones; a brother, Edward Labrada, Oklahoma City; five grandchildren: Daniela Prowell, Jonea Hammond and husband Brent, and Nicole Prowell, all of Lawton; Jade VanSickel and Enrique VanSickel, both of Killeen, Texas; a great-granddaughter, Julia Hammond; and a great- grandson, Noah Hammond, both of Lawton; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Trina Ramos and Adelia Pomales; and a brother, Lorenzo Labrada. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lawton Area, Inc., P.O.
