Shirvinski Funeral Mass for Stanley J. Shirvinski, 77, Lawton, will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Philip Seeton officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Whinery-Huddleston Chapel. Mr. Shirvinski died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, in Lawton. Burial with military honors will be at Post Cemetery. He was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Gary, Ind., to Sarah and Frank Shirvinski. He married Beatrice Raboin on Aug. 22, 1982, in Madison, Wis. He retired from the Army in 1976 with the rank of master sergeant after 22 years. He served in World War II, Vietnam and Korea. He received many awards including the National Defense Service Medal with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, Expert Rifle, Army Commendation Medal with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal Fifth Award, President's Hundred Tab, and two letters of commendation. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons: Stanley Shirvinski Jr., Anniston, Ala.; Steve Shirvinski, Hudson, Wis.; and Erik Shirvinski, of the home; four daughters: Mary Fedele and her husband, Sam, Madison, Wis.; Mandi Spray and her husband, Tim, and April Shirvinski, all of Lawton; and Sarah Shirvinski, Indiahoma; a brother, Frank Shirvinski Jr., and his wife, Pam, Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Sarah Long and her husband, Roger, Mountainhome, Ark.; and four grandchildren: Jacqueline Hunter, Madison; and Kalub, Bryse and Trinitee Spray, all of Lawton. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary Jane Shirvinski.
