Mr. Squyres died Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, in Prague. ========= Lawton Constitution 25 Nov 2003 Roger Dale Squyres PADEN — Graveside memorial service for former Lawton resident Roger Dale Squyres, 52, Paden, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. Mr. Squyres died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, in Paden. Arrangements are by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. He was born March 16, 1951, in Fort Hood, Texas, to Virgil and Merlyn Elwanda Biggs Squyres. He graduated from Lawton High School in the late 1960s. He joined the Air Force on July 18, 1973. He was stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Texas. He was a program analyst in the Air Force. While in the military, he attended Troy State College in Troy, Ala. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in resource management in April 1981. He was honorably discharged on Aug. 10, 1994. His medals and awards include the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon and the National Defense Service Medal. Survivors include three sisters: Merlyn Smith, Geronimo; Sherry Jo Ollerton and her husband David; and Bobbie D. Kelly and her husband Joseph, all of Lawton; seven nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and nephews; many aunts and uncles, and his special love, Linda Kader, Prague. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Joseph A.
