Tugmon Funeral for Larry J. Tugmon, 63, Lawton, is pending with Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. Mr. Tugman died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at a local hospital. ========= Lawton Constitution 18 & 19 Apr 2003 Larry J. Tugmon Funeral for Larry J. Tugmon, 62, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. today at Letitia Baptist Church, east of Lawton, with the Rev. Bubba Clark, pastor, officiating. Mr. Tugmon died Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at a local hospital. Burial will be at Flower Mound Cemetery under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. He was born Aug. 8, 1940, in Carnegie to Elton and Nora Hall Tugmon. He grew up in Lawton and attended Lincoln Elementary School and Lawton High School. He married Karolyn Kay Roberson in Lawton in 1958. He worked at McClellan's, and was a butcher for 20 years. He also farmed, owned Pioneer Truck Stop and recently worked for T & G Construction. He was a member of Letitia Baptist Church. He was also a member of American Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association and the National Cutting Horse Association. He was past president of the Lawton Saddle Club. Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law: Michael Wayne Tugmon Sr. and Merlene Tugmon and Gregory Alan and Sandy Tugmon, all of Lawton; and Philip J. and Lisa Tugmon, Altus; a daughter and son-in-law, Lori Ann and Gary Baggett, Lawton; 12 grandchildren: Gary Dean Baggett Jr., Aubrey Stevenson Baggett, Nathan Kyle Baggett, Philip Aaron Tugmon, Kati Elaine Tugmon, Kristi Lynn Tugmon, Brandon Alan Tugmon, Larry Shane Tugmon, Amanda Dawn Tugmon, Michael Wayne Tugmon Jr. and his wife, Niki, Justin Alan Tugmon and Lisa Rebecca K Tugmon; a great- grandchild, Amber Dawn Tugmon; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Leon and Donna Tugmon and Johnny and Mildred Kennedy, all of Lawton; and Theodore and Faye Kennedy, McAlister; and special friends, Richard and Mary Crow of Lawton.
