All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rose Cemetery--Hobart OK CHARLES TOLLIVER Charles Tolliver, 75, died May 11 in Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton after a brief illness. He was born July 19, 1919 to Charles Wiley and Charlotte Divine Toliver in Wiley, Colorado. He married Mildred Glass August 10, 1940 in Hobart. She preceded him in death March 30 of this year. Tolliver worked at the Farmers COOP for 20 years. He was the in-house plumber and managed three wheat elevators during harvest season. He owned Tolliver's Plumbing from 1967 until 1981 and worked for Standerfer Plumbing until January 1995. Survivors include a son, David L Toliver, Sanibel Island, Florida; a daughter Carolyn Davies, Centralia, Washington; seven grandchildren and four-great grandchildren. Services were May 14 in Hakney Funeral Chapel, Hobart with Revs Nolan and Barbara Pierce, co-pastors of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial was in Hobart Rose Cemetery under direction of Hackney Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Lester Standerfer, Leonard Standerfer, Raymond Fields, Edward Newell, Curtis Bynum and John Allred.
