All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rose Cemetery--Hobart OK MILDRED TOLIVER Mildred M Toliver, 71, died March 30 at Elkview General Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born October 29, 1923 in Geronimo to George A and Maude (Tomlin) Glass. She married Charles Toliver August 10, 1940 in Hobart. Mrs Toliver moved with her family to Cooperton in a covered wagon at the age of three months. She grew up in the Cooperton community and lived in Kiowa County most of her life. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and active in all departments of the church. Mrs Toliver worked in sales at Booth Drug, Village Pharmacy, Grinnells, Stanleys Furniture Store, McAbee Sewing Center and helped her husband in the family plumbing business from 1967 - 1981. Survivors include her husband, Charles of the home; one son, David L Toliver, Sanibel Island, Florida; one daughter, Carolyn S Davies, Centralia, Washington; a brother J R Glass of Lawton; three sisters, Clara Eaglin, Hobart; Ruby Stafford, Carter; Lelia Burk, Hobart; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters. Services were April 2 at Hackney Funeral Chapel with Rev Nolan Pierce officiating. Burial was in Rose Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lester Standerfer, Johnnie Bullock, Glenn Garrison, Joe Clark, Leonard Standerfer and Joe Glass. A suitable donation the Society would be greatly appreciated.
