Joyce Marie Dee Taylor

Services: Tues., Nov. 13, 11 a.m. 

Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River 
Blvd., Tuesday, November 13, at 11 a.m. for Joyce Marie Dee Taylor, 72, 
who passed away November 6, 2001. Pastor Ted Cederblom will officiate. 
Mrs. Taylor was born on May 19, 1929 in Fletcher, Oklahoma and resided in 
Kern County for 62 years. She retired from the Bakersfield City School 
District as a bus driver for 18 years. Mrs. Taylor loved to dance any kind 
of dance. She loved to play bingo. She was a member of the Oildale Church 
of Christ. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and 
Ruby Scott. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Byrd Taylor of 
Bakersfield; son, Byrl Taylor of Vista, CA; daughter, Judy Taylor of 
Bakersfield; her grandchildren who were the apply of her eye, Bryan, 
Brandon, and Kimberly Taylor, Cody Slayton and her great grandchild, Jaden 
Taylor; sister, Evelyn Michels of Lake Isabella and numerous nieces and 
nephews. No visitation is scheduled. Greenlawn Mortuary Funeral Directors
