Thompson,died Thursday at 1:30p.m. following a brief illness. Mrs. Thompson was born near McKinney Texas Aug.12,1876. She came to Lawton in 1912 from Bowie Texas,and had since resided here. Besides her husband T.B.Thompson,she is survived by six daughters and two sons by former marriage. The daughters are Mrs.Viola McBee, of Anadarko,Ok. Mrs. Ora Harper of Ontario Calif.; Mrs.Elizabeth Burnett, Mrs. Clara Garrison, Mrs Ethal Cummings,and Mrs.Amanda Caraway, all of Lawton, and sons are Mike Morgan of Perrin Texas, Gano Morgan of Lawton,; nine brothers and five sisters and Mrs.Clara Pollock of this city who is a step-sister. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Ritter Funeral Home, with Rev. W.A. Wilcoxson, pastor of Calvity Baptist church,conducting the service. Burial will be made in Highland cemetery,Lawton.
