All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Consitituion 8 Oct 2004 Rebecca Thompson Funeral for Rebecca Thompson, 51, Lawton, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Mount Scott Kiowa United Methodist Church in the Mount Scott community with the Rev. Tim Byington officiating. Mrs. Thompson died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at her home. Burial will be at Mount Scott KCA Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home. She was born Oct. 18, 1952, to Walter and Dorothy Rhoades Farrow. She attended school in Elgin and graduated in Fairbanks, Alaska, in 1970. She completed registered nurse training at Cameron University in 1984. She was a nurse for the Indian Health Service for 14 years and retired in 1998. She married George Durward Thompson on April 15, 1983, in Lawton. Survivors include her mother; two sons: Jason Payne and Walter Payne; a sister, Dorothy Lyzette Leon; and many other relatives and friends.
