Mrs. Thomas died Friday, May 3, 2002, in Oklahoma City after a lengthy illness. ========= Lawton Constitution 9 May 2002 Vivian Thomas Funeral for Vivian Thomas, 68, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. D.D. McHenry, pastor, and the Rev. Edgar Franklin officiating. Mrs. Thomas died Friday, May 3, 2002, at an Oklahoma City hospital. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under direction of Howard-Harris Funeral Services. She was born April 15, 1934, to Marshall and Estina Haliburton in Fort Worth, Texas. She moved to Lawton in 1967, and married Robert Thomas on Dec. 18, 1968, in Lawton. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include one daughter, Gwendolyn Haliburton, Lawton; one sister, Pearline Franklin, Fort Worth; one brother, Harrydale Halliburton, Fort Worth; one sister-in-law, Debra Haliburton, Fort Worth; five grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
