(Ret.) Robert Clair Thomas was born February 16, 1921, in Hubbard, Texas. He was a gradute of Pelham High School. Being a thoughful person, he united with the church at an early age. In 1941 he was called to serve his country. There he served and retired August 31, 1969. Sgt Thomas became ill and was admitted to the hospital at Ft. Sam Houston. There he went home to rest; leaving to mourn his home going a wife, Mrs. Bettye Thomas 1932 Roosevelt, Lawton; four daughter, Miss Bettie Claire Thomas of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Miss Claudette M. Thomas of Austin, Texas, Miss Beverly Ann Thomas of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Velma E.
