All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Highland Cemetery--Lawton OK Lawton Constitution 5 Apr 2003 Wilson 'Wahoo' Tahmahkera Funeral for Wilson "Wahoo" Tahmahkera, 73, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Comanche Nation Funeral Home, with the Rev. Reeves Nahwooks officiating. Mr. Tahmahkera died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in a Wichita Falls, Texas nursing home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. He was born July 15, 1929 to Wilson and Ida Tomah Niweseah Tahmahkera. He married Eleanor Palmer Tahmahkera. Survivors include two brothers: Garrison Tahmahkera, Tempe, Ariz.; and Marvin Tahmahkera, Wis; two sisters: Marjorie Pahdopony, Lawton; and Wilda O'Keefe, City Island, N.Y.; an aunt, Anna Tahmahkera, Cache; five nieces; and six nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Monroe Tahmahkera; and three sisters: Juanita "Pauline," Richenda "Ricki" and Beatrice Tahmahkera.
