Vaughn Funeral for Roberta E. Vaughn, 66, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Don Barnes, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Vaughn died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, at a local hospital. Burial will be at Cache Cemetery under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 6, 1936, in Carnegie to Robert L. and Loy E. Willis Mills. She grew up in Carnegie and came to Lawton in the 1950s. She then moved to Cache in 1979, where she lived before returning to Lawton this year. She married J.B. Vaughn on June 3, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He died June 2, 1991. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Karolyn Vaughn, Lawton; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Deana and James Ryder and Val and Kirk Mullenix, all of Cache; and Kimberly Vaughn, Lawton; two brothers: Leo Mills, Fort Worth, Texas; and Delbert Mills, Norman; three sisters: Ina Mae Firestine, Fresno, Calif.; Eula Faye Thornton, Carnegie; and Iva Lea Black, Lawton; and five grandchildren: Scott Messner and his wife, Sara; Madison Mullenix; Keaton Mullenix; J.R. Vaughn; and Haley Ryder. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to First Assembly of God Church, Youth Center, P.O.
