Vaughan Funeral for Agnes J. Vaughan, 79, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. today at Lawton First Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Vaughan died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, in a local hospital after a brief illness. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service. She was born July 3, 1923, near Lawton, to Orval and Lola Flanagan Mangram. She grew up in the Denton community and attended Denton and Sterling schools. She graduated from high school in Lawton. She worked for 16 years as a military pay clerk in the Fort Sill Finance Department, retiring in 1974. She was a longtime member of Lawton First Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Keith and Donna Vaughan, Lawton; two grandchildren and their spouses: Jeff and Paula Vaughan and Ashley and Austin Shrader, all of Edmond; and two great- grandchildren: Camryn and Evan Vaughan. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Doyle Mangram (in childhood) and the Rev. Virgil Mangram; and an infant sister.
