All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 9 Dec 2003 Christine Vaughn ASH FORK, Ariz. — Graveside service for former Lawton resident Christine Vaughn, 80, Ash Fork, Ariz., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. Mrs. Vaughn died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, in Kingman, Ariz. Burial will be under direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born Nov. 1, 1923, in Comanche County, to Louis William and Minnie Clyde Beasley Harned. She married Pete Vaughn Jan. 10, 1986, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He died May 3, 1995. She was retired from civil service and had also worked as a Realtor. She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include three children: Donna Raye Pollick, Ash Fork; Robert Lynn Meyer and his wife, Sharron, Lawton; and Larry Wayne Meyer, Hampton, Va., three sisters: Francis A. Watkins and Pauline Caldwell, both of Lawton; and Patsy Jean Swanson and her husband, Paul, Pauls Valley; a brother, Donald Harned, Tulsa; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bill Harned; and ex- husband, Ray Meyer. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 6465 S.
