Webb, 96 A graveside service for Mildred L. Webb, 96, formerly of Silo, who passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, at the Southwest Regional Skilled Nursing Center in Lubbock, Texas, will be held Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Silo Cemetery. The Rev. Fred Waldrep will officiate. Mildred was born April 9, 1908, in Lawton to Howard Milton Bisbee and Belle Everson and attended a small country school east of Lawton. She was born and raised in western Oklahoma and moved to Lubbock in 1935 and then to Silo in 1979. Mildred married R.G. "Dink" Webb in Lawton on Feb. 27, 1929. They owned and operated Dink's Quick Lunch for many years. Mildred was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Lubbock and also attended Silo Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard. Mildred will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Milton, Arlo and an infant brother and sister Louise Johnson. Mildred is survived by daughter Zelda McClung, Lubbock; son George Webb and wife Sue, Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren Karen Ervin, Lubbock, Charles Dink McClung, Lubbock, Shawn McClung, Lubbock, Jay Webb and wife Shawna, New Braunfels, Texas, Aaron Webb and wife Jill, Austin, Texas, Kelly Webb and wife Lori, Round Rock, Texas, and Mike Webb, who is stationed in England; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. Interment will be in Silo Cemetery, Silo, with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Family hour will be Monday from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
