Webb Clifton G. Webb, 98, of Marysville died Feb. 8, 2007, at Yuba City Care and Rehabilitation Center in Yuba City. Born in Cache, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 62 years. He was a route salesman for Channel Bakers for 20 years and a custodian at Bridge Street Elementary School for 15 years. Also, he was a member of the First Christian Church of Marysville for more than 60 years, the American Hereford Association, the Grange and several square dance clubs. In addition, he was named "Best Western Mountain Man" at Oroville Fiesta Days in 1962 and "Outstanding Senior Citizen of the Year" by the Yuba County Board of Supervisors. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jo Clark of Florida and Frieda Creagan of Colorado; a son, Henry Webb of Tennessee; a stepdaughter, Gail D'Arcy of Oroville; two stepsons, Roland D'Arcy of Browns Valley and Jack D'Arcy of Canada; seven grandchildren; nine step- grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, JeannetteWebb; two brothers, Lillard Webb and Robert Webb; and a sister, Beulah Webb. Donations may be made to a favorite charity. Services: Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City. A service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, also at the chapel, with the Rev. Henry Webb officiating.
