Waysepappy Funeral for Mary A. Waysepappy, 47, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Comanche Nation Community Center, Apache. An all night wake service will be at 7 p.m. today at the community center. Mrs. Waysepappy died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at a Lawton hospital. Burial will be at Otipoby Cemetery, Fort Sill. She was born June 13, 1956, to Cleatus Pocowatchit and Delores Sapcut Aitson. She married Bertrand Waysepappy on March 26, 1974, in Apache. Survivors include her husband, of the home; three sons: George "Boy" Waysepappy, Bertrand "King" Waysepappy and Dale Waysepappy, all of Lawton; four granddaughters: Marcie Waysepappy, Deanndra Waysepappy and Lindsay Waysepappy, all of Lawton; and Marissa Chibitty, Geronimo; three grandsons: Randy Waysepappy and Christopher Waysepappy, both of Lawton; and Isaiah Chibitty, Geronimo; her mother, Richard Spur; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Georgetta Sue and Jesse Carpitcher, Oklahoma City; and Dana Aitson and Rick Mithlo, Richard Spur; three brothers: Michael Dean Pocowatchit, Joseph "Baby Jr." Aitson Jr. and Roy Aitson, all of Lawton; her grandmother, Marjorie Tahdooahnippah, Wichita, Kan.; her grandfather, Eldridge "Peaches" Tahdooahnippah, Cyril; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her fathers, Cleatus Pocowatchit and Joseph Aitson Sr.; and her maternal grandparents, George Sapcut Sr. and Dorothy Tommie Sapcut.
