All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 25 Jan 2003 Karolyn Kay White STERLING -- Funeral for Karolyn Kay White, 58, Sterling, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sterling Church of Christ with Adraine Smith, Sterling, officiating. Mrs. White died Friday, Jan. 24, 2003, at her home. Burial will be at Sterling Cemetery under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born Oct. 20, 1944, in Lawton, and moved to the Sterling area at the age of 6. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1962. She married Cletus White on July 28, 1962, in Sterling, and they lived east of Sterling. She was a homemaker, and also worked for Woodward's Department Store in Cyril. She retired in 2000 due to ill health. Survivors include her husband, of the home: three sons and daughters-in- law: Gary Don and Teri White, Pete and Jamie White and Buck and Debbie White, all of Sterling; her mother, Katherine Sare, Sterling; seven grandchildren: Claye, Catie, Dillon, Tucker, Hannah, Cheyenne and Trevor; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and John Ostman, Hot Springs, Ark.; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Nancy Sare, Olympia, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, J.D.
