All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Rush Springs Cemetery--Rush Springs OK Lawton Constitution 5 May 2004 Jay Wyatt PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Graveside service for Jay Wyatt, 54, Port Charlotte, Fla., will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rush Springs Cemetery with the Rev. John Freeman officiating. Mr. Wyatt died Saturday, May 1, 2004, in Charlotte County, Fla. Arangements are by Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. He was born Dec. 9, 1949, in Lawton, to J.T. and Helen Stamper Wyatt. He grew up at Temple and Walters and graduated from Walters High School in 1968. He attended Cameron College before entering the U.S. Army and serving in Korea. He married Penny Yung in 1971 and they returned to the United States in 1973. He worked for his parents at Wyatt Funeral Home and attended Central State University. Around 1986 he moved to Florida where he worked in construction and landscaping since that time. He was a member of Walters First Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Pharr, Texas; two sons: Joe and John Wyatt, Mt. Morris, Ill.; two sisters: Linda Wyatt Mottley, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Cheryl Wyatt Fielding, Pharr, Texas; a nephew, Matthew Crawford, Scottsdale; and other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
