Ninth will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Becker Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. H. Tom Wiles, pastor emeritus of First Baptist Church, and Rev. Forrest Siler, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain Park Cemetery. Mrs. Whitaker died Sunday evening in a local hospital following an extended illness. She was born March 11, 1884, in Long Run, MO. She was married to Rev. Zebedee Whitaker March 17, 1901, in Longrun. The couple moved to Snyder from Missouri in 1919, moving to Lawton in 1938. Rev. Whitaker died in 1958. Mrs. Whitaker was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons: Rev. R.K. Whitaker, Shamrock, Tex.; Emery A., Duncan; and Roderick Q., of the home; a daughter; Mrs. Gladys Gutierrez, Santa Fe.
